seek to achieve look like?
Hudbay Scholarship Program grants comprehensive university scholarships to low-income youth from rural communities located within the districts of Velille, Livitaca and Chamaca in Cusco.
The program seeks to address the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
(1) End of poverty
(4) Quality Education
(5) Gender Equality
The Hudbay scholarship program includes:
Success scholarship: for young people with limited resources.
Talented Woman Scholarship: For young rural women.
Since the program began, 11 young people have joined the scholarship program.
An agreement was signed with COAR Cusco (Government High Performance Schools) to optimize the selection process with the best students in the region.
